The other night's episode of FlashForward was Demetri-centric, because John
Cho tries hard to steal the show even while he's out missing, or facing
his doom. On "The Garden of Forking Paths," our FBI team searches for
their colleague, who is in extreme danger. He's practically reliving a
scene from the Saw franchise thanks to our resident villain. But
Mark (Joseph Fiennes) is already on the case. If we recall, he knows
his way around missing people; he found Lloyd Simcoe a while back. The
guy's just lucky like that. If only his luck got Dyson Frost behind
bars.
While the FBI team prepare themselves for a showdown,
Demetri gets to know his captor. Frost is holding him in a room with
obscure and intersecting scribbles on the walls, which he calls his very
own "Garden of Forking Paths." They all point to flashes of the future,
the most important being the March 15 one, since it's happening at that
very moment. To Read More Click

It's been a rough road lately for FlashForward's characters. Mark
(Joseph Fiennes) has officially moved out of the family home, Demetri
(John Cho) is getting closer to solving his supposed murder, and
Aaron's (Brian F. O'Byrne) daughter has been captured. But one of the
series' darkest moments came in the final minutes of last week's
episode, when it was revealed that baby-crazy agent Janis Hawk is the
mole leaking information about the Mosaic task force's investigation.
How did this happen? How does this affect her flash-forward? And above
all else, why, Janis, why? Christine Woods, the actress who plays the
Mosaic team's newest threat, spoke with us about all that and more. To Read More Click Here. |

All you sci-fi television fans can sleep just a little bit easier at
night. Why? Because chances are actually looking good for a FlashForward
season two. I know you're all asking What? But
FlashForward's been losing viewers like crazy! Last week's episode only
got 5.42 million viewers!
And I know what you're saying. As
much as I love ABC Thursday's sci-fi series, I was really skeptical of
the series coming back for another year, simply because it was doing so
poorly with American audiences. And I still am skeptical, to a certain
degree. But Kristin dos Santos of E! Online is telling me to worry less
for Mark Benford and his pals. To Read More Click

Let's face it as wonderful as last week's Fringe was, it didn't do
so great in the ratings. "Peter" only managed to score 5.83 million
viewers, with a 2.3 rating in the all-important 18-49 rating. That's
kind of paltry when compared to earlier episodes of the season.
January's "The Bishop Revival" got much higher ratings than that. However,
last night's Fringe showed a slight rebound that we can attribute to
the fact that "Peter" was a return from a very long hiatus. "Olivia. In
the Lab. With the Revolver" received 6.46 million viewers (though,
oddly enough, the 18-49 rating stayed the same). This rebound is
slight, but it does mean that there is hope for the series to make at
least a partial recovery from the hiatus-induced ratings hemorrhage.

If there was any chance of FlashForward getting renewed for a second
season, it's a significantly smaller chance now. ABC's hope for a LOST
replacement has utterly failed in terms of viewership. Though the
initial drop could possibly be blamed on the three-and-a-half-month
hiatus between "A561984" and "Revelation Zero," the episode "Better
Angels" proved that FlashForward likely will not be renewed beyond its
first season. Mark Benford shouldn't be worrying about another blackout
- we'll never see it happen. Not when new episodes of the show are
getting 5.07 million viewers. To Read More Click Here. |
