So far we've been far too charmed by Simon on Flash Forward, and it's not just because he's played by Dominic Monaghan. There are layers upon layers in the character, and you're not exactly sure if you want to find what's at the core. First you see the guy thinking of strangling a stranger while in bed with a woman, and next thing you know he's clutching a memento with a vulnerable look on his face.
Simon's been an unpredictable and intriguing character since he was introduced, which was around four episodes ago. Part of his appeal, of course, is what Monaghan calls "a little OCD."

Our characters are taking control of their fates in Flash Forward, gripping the hope brought forth by the death of Agent Al Gough. But what if avoiding visions only leads to their fulfillment? And what about those who want the visions to come true?
Tonight's episode "Believe" is one filled with getting to the bottom of things. First off, Bryce (Zachary Knighton) decides to search for the woman in his flash-forward. She's what kept him alive during his time down in the dumps, so it's only expected he'll start looking for her.

First off, let me just say wow!! I don't think I fully realized what the impact of Al's death, what a truly big game-changer it is. Thanks to all the great comments, especially those who remember dearly departed Lee Thompson Young as Jett Jackson (and here I thought I was the only one) and a special shout-out to MDJones for the insightful guess into Demetri and Zoey's future: "I think she's probably walking on the beach in a white dress to scatter Demetri's ashes." After Al, I can't even begin to think about another death within the team but this definitely seems like a possibility. Read More>

With the death of one Agent Al Gough, there's space to fill on Flash Forward. Sure, Lee Thompson Young will be missed. But he'll probably end up back on Scrubs or something.
Moving on, showrunner David Goyer has revealed to MTV News that there are exciting new characters headed to the show. Of course, only a few episodes have been aired, making the entrance of these new ones inevitable. Still, it's interesting to see what these guys have planned for Flash Forward, especially since the whole premise of the series revolves around the future.

With that ending, last week's "The Gift" is going to be difficult to top. But the story goes on in Flash Forward as we all wait for the inevitable April 29, 2010 to come full force. For tonight, meanwhile, it looks as though the series is going to take things lightly for once. Well, lighter than the previous installment anyway.
We can never really tell from these promos and sneak peeks what explosive plot point is going to happen on "Playing Cards with Coyotes." So far, here's most of what we know. Mark (Joseph Fiennes) will be foregoing a romantic getaway with his wife to trail a tattooed assassin he saw in his vision. They're all hoping to change the future, but peculiar circumstances keep getting in the way.

FlashForward's FBI agent Janis Hawk (Christine Woods)
has been missing in action, recovering from a brutal gunshot wound.
However, when she gets back to the bureau this week, Janis will be
returning to a very different world. Not only has the FBI unexpectedly
lost a fellow agent, but agent Al Gough's (Lee Thompson Young) suicide
— specifically to avoid his flashforward — calls the validity of the
flashforwards into serious question. Fans will still have to wait until
April 29, 2010 to see if the flashforwards come true. Until then, Woods
tells TVGuide.com about the aftermath of Al's death, what's ahead for
Janis and which characters will be getting more screen time.

The latest FlashForward episode "The Gift" starts out innocently enough as we see a woman picking up her two young boys from school. However, as the woman approaches her car, she finds a flyer on her windshield advertising projectghosts.com with a note on the back saying "You are one of us."
Before any of this can be explained, we cut back to Mark, Demetri and Al headed back to the morgue to follow up on the three blue-handed dead bodies they found at the end of the last episode. The three people seem to have absolutely nothing in common, except for the fact that the all three killed themselves and had no flash forwards. Also, one of three dead people is Ian Rutherford, who Al remembers investigating in his own flash forward. Read More>
