Attended Harvard, where he earned a BA, and earned a Master's degree from Yale School of Drama. Recieved two Tony Award Nominations for his stage work and had performed in a number of highly acclaimed films, including The Tuskegee Airmen. Currently married to actress Angela Bassett.
